MINARET WINTER JAZZ FESTIVAL 2024 (December 16-20, LA)
MINARET WINTER JAZZ FESTIVAL DEC 16-20, 2024
LOS ANGELES
We’re shaking things up for the second annual Minaret Winter Jazz Festival, blending the spontaneity of our pop-up concerts with the structure of a traditional festival. This year, instead of a single night packed with music, we’re hosting an entire week of programming. From Monday, December 16th through Friday, December 20th, you can enjoy nightly concerts at some of our favorite independent venues across Los Angeles.
We’re honored to showcase performances by visionary bandleaders all week. Groups: Paul Cornish Trio • Zekkereya El-Magharbel (Solo) • Yibs • Genevieve Artadi • Steve Lehman Trio + Mark Turner • Ambrose Akinmusire, Chiquitamagic, & Justin Brown • takoda / telemakus / miguel atwood-ferguson •Thom Gill / Sam Wilkes / Chris Fishman • Henry Solomon Trio (feat. Roy McCurdy & Carmen Quill) •
Jon Hatamiya Big Band.
This is our most ambitious program to date, so we need the LA music community to rally behind us and make this festival as lit as humanly possible.
