Nicole McCabe

Nicole McCabe is a Los Angeles-based alto saxophonist, composer and educator. In 2022, she received a Master’s in Jazz from USC’s Thornton School of Music.
Minaret put out Nicole’s debut album, Introducing Nicole McCabe, in December 2020. It consists of 8 compositions showcasing Nicole’s impressive repertoire and singular voice, featuring musical appearances/collaborations with Portland heavy hitters Alan Jones, George Colligan, Charlie Porter, and Jon Lakey
She is also 1/2 of Dolphin Hyperspace, an electronic jazz duo with Logan Kane.
Her second release as Nicole McCabe on Minaret is Improvisations, an EP of solo saxophone loops released December 14th, 2022
