chiquitamagic is a latinx artist / producer born in Bogotá, Colombia & based in Toronto, Canada.
Her forthcoming album, solo piano, is a collection of solo piano improvisations recorded on August 5th, 2024 at Altamira Studios. Releases on Minaret Records April 7th (bandcamp only) and April 18th on streaming platforms.
She spent the years working on her sixth album entitled Mexico Sexi Time, released Feb 21, 2022 as a collaboration between ORIS (Mexico City) & Minaret. The album features Louis Cole, Genevieve Artadi and John Keek & can be described as a bedroom pop mashup of vibes coming out of chiquita’s love for dance music, jazz, funk, cumbia, & choral music
